We have more plays than usual, be sure to capitalize.
John Wall- Wall has mentioned he is a little banged up, but he still has scored 42+ fantasy points in three of his last five. Tonight, he should be able to repeat facing the Kings, who have allowed the most fantasy points to point guards over their last five games.
Deron Williams- Williams has been better post All-Star break, but still isn't a steady player. With that said I still would take a chance on Deron tonight against the Sixers. The Sixers have allowed the fourth most fantasy points to point guards over the last five games.
Ishmael Smith+Isaiah Canaan- It is still unknown which one will see more minutes, but I would say both have some value against the Nets. The Nets have allowed point guards to score 41 fantasy points a game against them in the last five games,
Joe Johnson- Joe is bound to bounce back from his slump. tonight is a perfect chance. He will face a team that has allowed the most fantasy points to shooting guards this season, the Sixers. Still Joe has some risk.
Bradley Beal- Beal hasn’t been great since return from injury, but I could see a welcome back performance tonight against the Kings. The Kings have allowed the most fantasy points to shooting guards over the last five games.
Markel Brown- Given the amount of minutes he plays, he always has some value.
Gordon Hayward- I like this matchup against the Pistons, and Hayward’s last three games; 42,36, and 45 fantasy points.
Robert Covington- Covington is coming off his best game in a while, a 36 fantasy point performance against the Kings. Stats say the Nets haven’t been bad against small forwards, but the eye test says otherwise.
Harrison Barnes- Barnes should be able to put up some points against the Knicks and could see extra minutes with Kerr’s emphasis on rest.
Derrick Favors- Favors has scored 30+ in four straight and has been become a pretty consistent option in fantasy. Plus tonight he faces the team that allows the most fantasy points to power forwards, the Pistons
Nerlens Noel- Noel has reminded people why he was a lottery pick, and tonight faces the Nets who struggle against super athletic players and power forwards. Things look pretty good for Noel.
Thaddeus Young- Young is now a starter and will likely see his minutes continue to rise, and faces an old team tonight. That always gives players a little extra.
Brook Lopez-The Sixer have allowed centers to score the most fantasy points in the last five games and on the season. Brook should put up some nice points.
Marcin Gortat-Gortat is coming of a 47 fantasy point performance, and the Wizards could be thin in the frontcourt. Plenty of minutes for the Polish Hammer.
Roy Hibbert-Hibbert is always a risk, but the Celtics really have no one to deal with his size.
