Warriors’ Player of the Game:
Andre Iguodala 22 points and 8 rebounds
1. Andre Iguodala has been the Warriors most consistent player.
Andre Iguodala, coming into tonight's game, was averaging 12.3 points per game while shooting 60 percent from the field. He's been the Golden State Warriors' most consistent player. He's defended LeBron James great throughout this series so far. He scored a season-high 22 points in tonight's game and made some crucial plays in the fourth-quarter that led to the Warriors busting the lead open. Thanks to Andre's play, the Warriors have tied this series.
2. Steph Curry catches rhythm.
Similar to the fourth-quarter of Game 3, Steph Curry caught fire late in the game. He hit a couple of threes early in the quarter and gave the Warriors a 15 point lead with 7:55 remaining. He made four out of six threes and scored 22 points while dishing out six assists. He didn't play too well for the first three-quarters, but he ended the game shooting eight for 17. If Steph Curry can continue his play, the Warriors will be in great position.
3. Warriors played outstanding defense.
LeBron James was averaging 41 points per game entering tonight's game, but the Warriors, behind Andre Iguodala, held him to just 20 points shooting seven for 22 from the field. The Warriors seemed to tire out LeBron as he looked exhausted all night. The Cavs as a whole shot 33 percent from the field, including a dismal 14.8 percent from the three-point line. The Warriors looked energized on defense and were committed to locking down their opponents. Iggy provided a defensive spark in the first quarter that continued all night.
4. Kerr's adjustments made a big difference.
Steve Kerr elected to put Andre Iguodala in the starting lineup and Iggy answered. Green played center and had his best game of the series as he scored 17 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Green replaced Bogut, who only played three minutes. Bogut has been struggling in this series and by replacing him with Green and having David Lee play more minutes has had a positive impact for the Warriors. We will see if this adjustment will work again in Game 5.
5. The Warriors dictated the pace.
Warriors controlled the pace from the opening tip. They ran up and down the court and made sure to get points in transition. They outscored the Cavs 11 to two in transition and had a total of 24 assists to the Cavs' 16.
