Don’t have all the time in the world to invest in watching NBA basketball? Do not fear, OTG is here, with six games you need to check out this week!
San Antonio Spurs at Oklahoma City Thunder

Two of the elite teams in the league clash in a possible Western Conference Finals preview the second day of the regular season. This will be the regular season debut for LaMarcus Aldridge as a Spur and the return of former MVP Kevin Durant for the Thunder. This is also the first time we’ll see new OKC head coach Billy Donovan’s new look offense, and what better way to test it then against Gregg Popovich. This will be fun.
Los Angeles Clippers at Sacramento Kings

Don’t have league pass? Well it’s usually free the first week, so be sure to investigate parts of your TV guide that you’ve ignored since you signed up with your provider. The Clippers are LOADED and are a popular championship pick. The Kings are reality television show disguised as a basketball team looking to contend for a playoff spot. But don’t sleep on the Kings, they are talented. And with solid matchups throughout, this game will be one to watch.
Memphis Grizzlies at Indiana Pacers

If styles make fights, then purists can’t ignore this matchup. The Pacers are transitioning from playing with low post bruisers to playing Paul George at the 4. The first real test for this new style will come against Memphis. The Grizzlies grit and grind at 2 and 3 doesn’t speak to Zach Randolph’s impact at the 4. There’s a mismatch, who adjusts first?
Miami Heat at Cleveland Cavaliers

The road to the NBA Finals in the East goes through the King and his Cleveland Cavaliers. Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and the Miami Heat have reloaded and are throwing boulders at the throne. This could very well be an Eastern Conference Finals preview, and boy, that would be a series for the ages. It starts here.
Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets

Cancel all of your Friday night Halloween plans (don’t worry you can go out tomorrow) and keep it glued to ESPN for the second game of this double header. The Rockets have beef with the defending champs. From Harden and Curry’s MVP beef to Lawson essentially saying Curry can’t play defense; expect a medley of “hold me back” moments, tech’s and maybe even an ejection.
Milwaukee Bucks at Toronto Raptors

Now this choice may not incite excitement like the other ones, but we like team diversity at OTG. Aside from that, this will actually be a good game. Both teams are improved from last year and thirst for the second round in the playoffs. Take some time off from NFL football and enjoy some distastefully competitive Sunday hoops while Kyle Lowry’s new body motivates you to get in better shape.
