Fallen Franchise

The Los Angeles Lakers have gotten off to a slow start with a 1 and 8 record. With that being said, is it time to possibly replace some of the executives in the front office? Mitch Kupchak and Jim Buss have been working side by side for the last three years and it has been well documented, that they haven't been really in tune with today's NBA culture. The Lakers have not been able to attract any top flight free agents, starting with Dwight Howard leaving for Houston, Carmelo opting to re-sign with the Knicks and failing to resign Pau Gasol last year. In addition, with two failed meetings to land LaMarcus Aldridge, Lakers fans are skeptical that they will be a real consider anytime soon. Even with Kevin Durant and LeBron James being the two biggest names on next summer's free agent list, it's not a slam dunk Los Angeles will land either one.
