Recap:
The Minnesota Timberwolves finished 13th in the West, which was worse than the Nuggets, but the record is not a clear representation for their bright future. The Timberwolves saw Karl Anthony Towns win the Rookie of the Year award unanimously, while Zach LaVine and Andrew Wiggins progressed with their overall games. After bringing in Tom Thibodeau to be the head coach and president of basketball operations, it’s clear things are finally in the right direction in Minnesota. And to make things even better, the Timberwolves drafted Kris Dunn with the 5th pick.

Damjan Rudez (Team Option/Declined)
Who Leaves,Who Stays:

I expect both of these players to leave this team. Prince may try to sign with a contender and the Wolves have declined Rudez’s option.
Team Needs:
Believe it or not, the Wolves don’t need to add much, they just need time to gel and progress as a team. They have young and talented point guards in Kris Dunn and Zach Lavine, which makes Ricky Rubio expendable. Not to mention, they have potential superstars in Andrew Wiggins and Karl Anthony Towns. The only thing the Wolves could use would be some added depth and veteran players to guide the young core.

Elton Brand, Brandon Bass, Chuck Hayes, and Mike Miller are all possible veterans that could help the Timberwolves.
