The NBA season has been over for quite some time, but NBA players are still competing around the world in the 2016 Rio Olympics. The Philadelphia 76ers have a few players representing other countries, such as Dario Saric for Croatia and Sergio Rodriguez for Spain. Both of these players are experienced and are future pieces in the Sixers puzzle, so it's interesting to see how they have fared so far in the Olympics.
Dario Saric:

Saric and Croatia have suffered two losses already in the Olympics, but they have a chance to pull it together against Lithuania in their next game. Dario Saric has struggled so far, but his effort and hustle has put everyone on notice. According to Phillymag.com, "While Saric has struggled from the field at times, including going just 1-7 from the field against Spain and 2-5 against Nigeria, Saric’s hustle, rebounding, and incredible passing have gotten fans rightfully excited." Saric also had a game saving block against Spain the other day, that saved the match for Croatia.
Saric has also received praise from his Croatian teammate, Roko Ukic, "I think Philadelphia is good for him and what they’re building right now. He’s a winner. If you scout him on shot, agility, he will not be an outstanding player, but the character he has, you can’t learn that. And that’s what makes him a special player. That’s why I believe in him so much.”
Sergio Rodriguez:

Sergio Rodriguez hasn't been playing much, but when he has his passing has been amazing. He's been racking up assists for Spain, who has the best threat of knocking off the USA team. His point guards skills have been tremendous and he's managed to keep his turnovers low.
Unlike Saric, Rodriguez has played in the NBA before and will bring his experiences to the Sixers when he suits up. The Sixers are in great position with these two and the other young players on the roster, but it will be interesting to see how these players continue to play in the Olympics and whether or not one of them will have a breakout game. Stay tuned and thanks for reading.
