Big Cap Players ($8,000 and Up)
DeMarcus Cousins vs NO ($9,500) - The Pelicans are giving up 52 fantasy points a night to centers and will be coming off a back-to-back. +Plus, Cousins has had 50+ fantasy in 2 of his last 3 games.
Mid Cap Players ($5,000 to $8,000)
Kyrie Irving vs ATL ($7,300) - The Hawks are allowing the most fantasy points in the league to point guards, giving Kyrie a favorable matchup. Kyrie will also be looking to back bounce after a poor game in Philly.
Brook Lopez vs MIN ($6,900) - The T’Wolves are allowing centers to score 27 points a night, which is great for the Nets and Lopez. Because with Jeremy Lin out, the Nets will need Lopez to put points up.
Julius Randle vs DAL ($6,300) - Randle is off to a great start this year, and the Mavs will be shorthanded down-low with Dirk missing time. Larry Nance Jr. will also miss the game because of a concussion, so possibly more minutes for Randle.
Andrew Wiggins ($6,000)/Zach Lavine($5,900) vs BKN - The Nets are giving up a ton of points to shooting guards and small forwards this season. Both of these guys could have big games with the Nets lack of perimeter defense. I wouldn’t recommend playing Wiggins, LaVine and Dunn(listed below) in the same lineup, but two of them for sure.
Harrison Barnes vs LAL ($5,700) - Barnes is coming off his best game as a Mav, and has had 27 fantasy points or more in 4 out of his last 6 games. Yes, the Lakers have been better, but they still give up plenty of points.
Small Cap Players ($5,000 and Under)
Sean Kilpatrick vs MIN ($4,900) - Kilpatrick is coming off two huge fantasy games and will continue to see more minutes and touches with Jeremy Lin sidelined. Also, Kilpatrick had one of his best games last season against the Timberwolves.
Kris Dunn vs BKN ($4,800) - Dunn hasn’t put up crazy numbers since filling in for Ricky Rubio, but has been solid. Throw in a great matchup against the Nets, and he should be able to hit over value.
