Daily NBA FanDuel Plays 12/20/16

Nick Diesing-Fay

Things to Remember

-Always check for injuries prior to tip-off.

-Daily FanDuel plays are up Monday through Friday.

-No picks on nights of only four games or less.

-Stats are based off Fanduel rules

Big Cap Players ($8,000 and Up)

Chris Paul vs DEN ($9,600) - Yesterday, the Clippers announced Blake Griffin will undergo minor knee surgery and will miss a few weeks. This sucks for Blake, but it’s really good for Chris Paul fantasy wise, as he will have to shoulder a bigger load. It also helps that Paul faces a Denver defense that allows point guards to average 47 fantasy points a night.

Mid Cap Players ($5,000 to $8,000)

Kristaps Porzingis vs IND ($7,800) - Porzingis has posted at least 30 fantasy points in 15 of his last 18 games, making you feel pretty comfortable putting him in your lineup. Not to mention, the Pacers are on the second night of a back-to-back and aren’t great against power forwards fantasy wise.

Jonas Valanciunas vs BKN ($5,500) - The Nets allow the most fantasy points in the league to centers, and will be without their best big man, Brook Lopez (rest.) With that said, look for Valanciunas to dominate inside.

Brandon Jennings vs IND ($5,100) - If Rose is out again, Jennings makes a solid play. Especially, when you consider Jennings he has posted over 22 fantasy points in five of his last six games.

Small Cap Players ($5,000 and Under)

Anthony Bennett vs TOR ($3,500) - Bennett could be a solid punt play tonight with Brook Lopez out. Surprisingly, he has seen a good chunk of minutes when Lopez is rested, and it seems Justin Hamilton has fallen out of the rotation. Plus, Bennett is from Canada and should have a little extra juice.
