Big Cap Players ($8,000 and Up)
Jimmy Butler vs NYK($10,000) - Butler has been a man on a mission, dropping big game after big game. He has posted at least 42 fantasy points in nine straight games and at least 52 fantasy points in his last two games. Against a bad Knicks team, Butler can really do some damage.
Rudy Gobert vs POR ($9,200) - This game has big time potential for Gobert. The Blazers are without their starting center, Jusuf Nurkic and are already missing Ed Davis. This leaves them vulnerable inside, where Gobert can dominate. Something he has done recently, as he has posted over 52 fantasy points in four of his last seven games.
Mid Cap Players ($5,000 to $8,000)
Klay Thompson vs MIN ($7,500) - Steph Curry went off last game, so is it Klay’s turn? I think so. Not only has Klay posted over 30 fantasy points in eight of his last 11 games, but the T’Wolves have struggled with shooting guards of late. Over their last five games, the T'Wolves are allowing shooting guards to average over 50 fantasy points a night.
Jeremy Lin vs PHI ($6,100) - Lin has been solid, posting over 28 fantasy points in four of his last five games, which includes a 34 fantasy points against the Sixers. Given the Sixers’ injuries and lack of depth, there is no reason not to expect a similar performance from Lin tonight.
Small Cap Players ($5,000 and Down)
Thaddeus Young vs TOR ($4,500) - Young is another solid play tonight as he has accumulated 21 fantasy points or more in four straight games, including 23 against Toronto last week. Now, Young is going to light it up but he can be that cheap option to finish off a lineup.
Jamal Murray vs NO ($3,700) - Murray could be an interesting punt play if Jameer Nelson is out once again. The Pelicans allow point guards to average over 50 fantasy points a night and don’t play lockdown defense.
