According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Los Angeles Clippers have traded Sam Dekker to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The return for Dekker is still unknown.
The Cavaliers were in need of a forward after LeBron James, widely regarded as the best player in the NBA, left the team in early July. Dekker, 24, is going to be playing for his third team in three years.
Dekker was drafted by the Houston Rockets with the 18th pick in 2015. Last year, he appeared in 73 games for the Clippers, averaging four points, two rebounds, and an assist in about 12 minutes per game.
