Bleacher Report
One of the final free agents is reportedly off the market according to recent reports. Wing Shabazz Muhammad agreed to re-sign with the Milwaukee Bucks on an undisclosed deal at this stage.
Muhammad joined the Bucks mid-season from Minnesota and produced 8.5 points per game along with 2.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 11 games. The former 2013 first round pick has shown flashes in his time with Minnesota and Milwaukee but has lacked consistency to make a real impact at league level.
He’s a solid scorer with little to no passing ability or defensive acumen. For Muhammad to crack the Bucks’ rotation on a regular basis he’ll need to improve those facets of his game. He’ll be competing for court time with the likes of Tony Snell, Pat Connaughton, Sterling Brown. If the 25 year old can earn some minutes he could be a useful offensive piece as Milwaukee looks to elevate themselves from last season’s 7th seed.
