PHI receives: SG Bradley Beal
This makes sense for both sides. Philadelphia gets Bradley Beal, while Washington gets two first-round picks, two young prospects, and a veteran on an expiring contract. There is a ton of concern around Fultz, but the second-year man out of Washington is still extremely young. Adding a promising guard like Shamet and a quality role player like Chandler just may convince Washington to pull the trigger.
This would strictly be a long-term move, but let’s be honest: the Wizards are in no shape to compete in the east. All eyes should be turned towards the future in Washington and if they are tempted enough, they may be inclined to pull the trigger on upside and possibility.
