Pistons Receive: Markelle Fultz, Furkan Korkmaz
Sixers Receive: Reggie Bullock, Ish Smith, and Stanley Johnson
As Detroit slowly slips in the standings, it may be time for a shakeup. After several reports of Detroit’s interest in the Sixers guard, there may be some traction towards getting a deal done. For the Pistons, they get two lottery tickets in Fultz and Korkmaz. With the season slipping out of hand, the Pistons may look to surround Blake Griffin with more youth to try and teeter the fence of a rebuild and remaining competitive.
The Sixers add a solid option at back-up point guard along with a glut of solid wing depth in Bullock and Johnson. Johnson is still the “prospect” range, where the remains enough untapped potential to remain intrigued. If he can put together his package of his athleticism and semblance of ball skills, the Sixers could have a long term rotation player. Bullock is an immediate aid and would serve as a key cog in the Sixers rotation. Shooting? Check. Wing defender? Check. Cool hair? Check.
