Love the NBA? Love the Game of Thrones? Let’s take a look at NBA players and figure out which Game of Thrones characters are their counterparts.
Let's start with Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors. Who could possibly be close to Curry? Brienne of Tarth.
Brienne of Tarth, while she has served many, she’s been loyal to each. King Renly Baratheon, Catelyn Stark, her friendship with Jaime Lannister, and the Stark kids. She also has Podrick. Steph Curry has been with the Warriors since the beginning of his NBA career in 2009.
Curry has never asked to be traded. He’s embraced the team not just on court but off court in the community as well. Recently, Steph Curry had received a letter from a young girl who wondered why his shoes didn’t come in any sizes for girls. He decided to change that and honored her.
Brienne of Tarth is always talking about King Renly Baratheon and continues to be loyal to him even though he died so long ago. She also is still loyal to Catelyn Stark even after her death and remains eager to protect the Stark kids.
When she first sees Sansa Stark, Sansa refuses to go with Brienne when she offers to protect her. Because of that Brienne technically didn’t need to continue to care for Sansa, but she did.

Back in 2017 Steph Curry left the Warriors team huddle and came to the aid of a fan. He helped her win $5,000. In June of 2017, he helped unveil a new home with The View for veteran fan, Tim Birckhead, who loves him. Recently, he gave away his signature the Curry 6 shoes to high school students in Oakland.
Steph’s dedication to his team is obvious every game. Whether he passes to his splash brother Klay Thompson or he finds another open man, he makes his team better. This season he averaged 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
While his average numbers have dropped from the 30 points he averaged in the 2015-2016 season, he still is a dominant and incredible player. He’s arguably the best shooter that’s ever graced the game of basketball.
