Overview:
In his 11th season in the NBA, Lopez managed to transform his game, going from an interior presence on offense to one of the biggest deep threats in the NBA. Lopez proved to be a true scoring option on the NBA’s best team in the 2018-19 season, and still managed to average a career high in blocks. His rebounding has taken a hit with him expanding his game, but he’s still an average rebounder.

Strengths:
It’s rare to see a center who has the shooting ability Lopez has. He forces opposing centers to guard him on the outside, leaving a lane for his teammates inside. He can hit from anywhere on the floor, drive to the rim and his block numbers have yet to take a hit.
Weaknesses:
Lopez’s rebounding isn’t where it should be for a center. He’s not as physical inside as he used to be in New Jersey and early Brooklyn, and
Ideal Role:
Brook is a starting caliber center in the NBA, especially with the weakness at the position across the league. His game fits the modern NBA, and he is efficient. As in Milwaukee, he won’t be a first or second option on a team, but he is a great complementary piece who can still protect the rim and nail a three when needed.
Possible Landing Spots:
Lopez can fit wherever he goes, that’s how well molded he is to fit in today’s league. If Milwaukee has enough cap space come July 1st, they are the most likely landing spot. The Lakers have been mentioned as having an interest in bringing him back.
Expected Next Contract:
Lopez is more than likely going to receive anywhere between $10 and $15 million per year on a multi-year deal.
